Food shopping
I have just completed the weekly food shop run. If I could shop weekly for clothes that would be fantastic but I hate having to do the weekly food run. How can I get excited about going to Tesco, Morrison or Asda? I have a difficult relationship with Supermarkets, on one hand I want the ease of shopping in one place and the opening hours but I also want to support British farmers and my local traders. When I use local traders I find shopping takes a while but I have fresh local produce which does taste better. Might have to get into the habit of shopping locally on a Saturday and going to farmers markets too. Don't worry though no chance of me going to "dig for victory" unless I can grow all my veg in pots in my courtyard garden!

Fire Pit
Just a couple of Sunny days in April have turned me into the weather optimist of my father! It may still be spring but hot weather is in short supply here so I am going to enjoy it whilst I can! Even on a hot day in May the temperature is too chilly to enjoy come the evening so I have been looking online for a fire pit. Not content with hoovering over the BBQ I want a fire pit to warm my mitts. I am convinced that buying this item will increase my enjoyment of the garden and the potential for garden parties that really do stay in the garden.
